The standard we target

This site is built to conform with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is a target we design and test against, not a certification.

What is implemented

• Semantic HTML landmarks, so a screen reader can jump between header, navigation, main content, and footer.
• A “Skip to content” link as the first focusable element on every page.
• Every interactive element reachable and operable by keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus ring.
• The Products menu opens on click and closes on Esc — it is not hover-only, so it works by keyboard and on touch.
• Text contrast meeting AA against its background, on both the light and dark sections.
• Descriptive alternative text on content images; decorative images marked so screen readers skip them.
• Form fields with real associated labels, required fields marked in text rather than by color alone, and errors announced next to the field they belong to instead of in a color-only cue.
• Width and height on images so the page does not jump while loading.
• Animation and smooth scrolling disabled automatically when your system is set to reduce motion.
• Text that reflows to 320px and remains readable when zoomed to 200%.
• Wide content such as the product comparison table scrolls inside its own focusable region, so the page itself never scrolls sideways.

Known limitations

The dealer portal is a separate system on its own domain, operated by a third party. We do not control its code and cannot speak to its accessibility. If you have difficulty using the portal, call us on (800) 723-7048 and we will help you directly rather than leaving you stuck with the interface.

Some product photographs contain detail — hardware close-ups and mounting diagrams — that a short alt text cannot fully convey. If you need a specification described to you, call or email and we will read it out or send it in another format.
