Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes SolarShield Retractable Awnings’ policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use our services.

Information we collect

When you contact us, request information, or apply to become a dealer, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, business details, project details, photographs you choose to send us, and your preferred method of contact.

We do not rent or trade your personal information, and we never share it for anyone else's marketing.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to respond to inquiries, provide and manage our services, maintain business records, evaluate dealer applications, refer inquiries to the appropriate dealer, and provide customer support. We may contact you by phone, email, text message, or mail in connection with those purposes.

Photographs and images

SolarShield Retractable Awnings will not use customer-submitted photographs publicly for advertising or marketing without obtaining permission.

Text message communications

If you provide a mobile number and check the text-message box on one of our forms, SolarShield Retractable Awnings may send you SMS messages about your inquiry, quote, order or dealer account. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out and HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Replying STOP ends all text messages from us. To stop marketing texts only, reply to any message or email leads@solarshieldretractableawnings.com.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how this site is used — which pages people read, how they arrived, and where they leave. To do that, Google Analytics stores first-party cookies in your browser that distinguish one visitor from another and keep a session together. We use these reports in aggregate; we do not use them to identify you personally.

This site does not run advertising, and your data is never shared for anyone else's marketing. Depending on your Google account settings, Google may associate this activity with its own signals across the sites and devices where you are signed in — that behavior is governed by Google's privacy policy, not ours. You can clear these cookies through your browser settings at any time, or block them with a browser setting or extension. Your browser may also store a small amount of preference data, such as dismissing a notice, which you can clear the same way.

Third-party services

Forms on this site are submitted to our own server, which then delivers the message to our inbox through a third-party email delivery provider. We use what you send us to answer your inquiry — nothing else. The dealer portal is a separate system hosted on its own domain and is governed by its own terms and privacy practices — signing in there takes you outside this website.

Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you provide. However, no website, internet transmission, email system, or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and opt out of marketing communications. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Children’s privacy

Our services are directed to businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
