Standing-seam fabric canopy · Patent pending
Metal Look
The standing-seam profile architects specify, built as tensioned fabric.
Metal Look is a fixed canopy with a true raised standing-seam rib profile, built as a tensioned fabric system on a repeatable frame. It exists for one situation: an architect has specified standing-seam metal and you want to bid the job with a fabric system your own crew can fabricate and install.
Easy to install
A tensioned fabric skin over a frame means lighter components, simpler attachment and lighter footings than a metal panel assembly — no crane day, no panel damage claims. The layout is standardized, so the second install goes faster than the first and your crew already knows the system.
Easy to offer
It answers a bid you would otherwise sit out. When the drawing says standing seam, you can quote the architectural read without subbing the work to a metal shop or walking away from the job.
Curves without a change order
Radii and curved runs come naturally to a tensioned fabric skin. In metal panel each curve means custom brake work, so the geometry that costs most in metal is ordinary here.
Specification
True standing-seam profile
Raised standing-seam ribs are built directly into the fabric panel, on a curved or straight run — the architectural read of metal panel, engineered in tensioned fabric.

Built flat, then tensioned
Every panel starts flat on the cutting table in Milldale, Connecticut. The ribs are formed into the panel, then the finished skin is tensioned over the frame — a repeatable layout, panel after panel.
Custom sizing
Available in custom sizes based on project requirements. Dealers should confirm dimensions, structure, mounting and drainage against the opening.
Colorways
Acrylic and vinyl colorways, so the canopy can match a building, a brand, or a rendering — a range metal coil stock does not carry.
Curved and straight runs
Curves and radii are formed in the tensioned skin rather than brake-formed, so curved geometry does not require custom panel fabrication.
Handling and freight
A fabric skin and frame ship and handle as fabric rather than as metal panel — relevant to both your freight and your install day.
Where it fits your board
Metal Look is for jobs specified in standing-seam metal. Frontier remains the fixed aluminium canopy line, and the retractable lines cover on-demand shade — these answer different drawings, not the same one twice.

Photographed on dealer installations. SolarShield manufactures the system; the dealer measures, quotes, and installs it.
